Verizon wasn’t an official Olympic sponsor, but that didn’t stop us from hiring Kevin Hart to cover the winter games. The films garnered more views than all but two official sponsors, including AT&T, even though the campaign was removed from Facebook and YouTube due to pressure from the IOC.

Only official sponsors can say the word, “Olympics.”

A series of quickly produced short films co-starring improv actors poked fun at Russian culture and Olympic events. Below are two examples, the second of which features a final joke that never actually aired.
